The project will include 48 turbines and once construction and commissioning are completed in 2027, Vetrozelena will be the largest wind farm in Serbia. The estimated expected annual gross production of the entire wind farm is around 750 GWh, which will be enough to supply more than 185,000 households with green electricity.
Near the planned wind farm there are several villages, the closest of which are Dolovo, Mramorak and Banatsko Novo Selo, each at a distance of about 2 km. The regional road Pancevo-Dolovo-Cibuk is 39 kilometers in length and leads to the micro-location .
The wind farm is the second such project CWP is realizing in the country, following the 158 MW Čibuk wind farm. The Vetrozelena project will be twice as large, with an installed capacity of 300 MW and will include 48 wind turbines.
